NJ Public Transportation is: Cheap, Reliable, Frequent, Quick, and Easy

 

Getting to the Pad:

1. Get on the NJ Transit Bus at Terminal A, B, or C.
1. One-way ticket is $1.25 (cash only)
2. Use Bus 62 that goes anywhere EXCEPT Newark

                                                               i.      There are multiple Bus 62s with various final destinations. ALL bus 62s (except 62 to Newark) stop at the Broad St./Jersey St. Stop

      c. Total bus ride is about 15min (depending on traffic)

2. Get off the bus at the Broad St. and Jersey St. stop in Elizabeth
3. Walk about 4 blocks to 314 Chilton Street as depicted on the map below.
1. Approximately 5 to 8 min walk (0.5 miles)

                                                               i.      Go NORTH on Broad Street. Take a LEFT onto W. Grand Street. Take a RIGHT onto Chilton 

 

Getting to the Airport:

1. Walk back to the bus stop (Broad and Jersey St.)
1. 5-8 min walk as depicted on the map

                                                               i.      When leaving the house, turn RIGHT and walk SOUTH on Chilton. Take a LEFT onto W. Grand Street. Take a RIGHT onto Broad Street

2. Stand on opposite side of the street from where you were dropped off from the airport
3. Get on Bus 62 to Newark “ONLY”
1. 62 to Newark goes North to the airport
2. One-way ticket is $1.25 (cash only)
3. Total bus ride is approximately 15 min (depending on traffic)
4. Get off at your choice of Terminal A, B, or C

 

* All Buses run every 10 to 15 min regularly all day depending on day and peak travel times.

*** If you don’t want to walk, there is a bus that picks up right outside the door of the house and will drop you off at the Broad and Jersey stop – it’s a 2 min ride. (Cost is 1.25)

**** We have room for 3 cars in the back, and unlimited street parking

***** If you ever need a taxi don’t catch it at the airport.  Ride the employee bus to Lot F and then call the taxi from there.  Newark Taxi drivers tack on an extra 20 dollars just to go to and from the airport.
